Hiking trail by Eriksbergs nature reserve.
Beskrivning
The nature reserve Eriksberg's beaches extend outside Eriksberg's game enclosure and provide the opportunity for nice walks along the sea. The trail Allböleden has lovely evening sun with miles-wide views in many places. Allböleden starts from "Björnahemmet" and is 6 km long.Eriksberg's beaches mainly consist of rocks. In crevices and in places with deeper soil cover, there are denser stands of trees with everything from alder marsh to heath beech forest. Hiking trails are marked from both directions. The hike is quite demanding but offers fantastic views out to sea. Along the paths you can see the remains of the many small crofts that were once inhabited by fishermen and small farmers.
The hiking trails Allböleleden and Kohageleden are now linked by two bridges. One at 185 metres over Kohagesundet and one at 100 metres over Boksundet.
Directions to Allböleden:
Take the highway E22 at junction 53 (if you are coming from the west) or junction 54 (if you are coming from the east) and follow the signs towards Trensum and Matvik and then Eriksberg's beaches ("Eriksbergs Stränder"). Parking is available at Björnahemmet's parking lot at the reserve.
