Tärnö

Beskrivning

Tärnö is a genuin archipelago idyll and the largest island in Karlshamn's archipelago. From the island's highest point, Drakaberget, you can see more than half of Blekinge's coast and the burrows in the mountain that the island's inhabitants in ancient times thought were marks of a dragon that lived there. Tärnö lighthouse was built on Iberget in 1910.

The island is a nature reserve and during summer time you can go by boat to Tärnö from the city center in Karlshamn and from Matvik. There are five barbeque areas on the island.
