Children's cinema at the city library

During the National Film Week for Children and Young People, the libraries in Karlskrona, in collaboration with BUFF Malmö Film Festival, organise a children's cinema with a craft workshop at the city library.

National Film Week was organised for the first time in 2022 and the aim is to show films for young audiences throughout Sweden during this week.

Beskrivning

The City Library will screen the short film package ‘Together - through thick and thin’ (34 minutes, without speech):

‘Capybaras’ (2024) - A family of capybaras takes shelter in the henhouse, and an unexpected friendship begins.

‘Bake with Boris’ (2023) - Boris bakes bread for the whole village. One day he becomes allergic to flour.

‘Fikus’ (2023) - The little leaf is a different colour from his friends. He feels left out.

‘Hello summer!’ (2024) - It's summer and the family wants to go travelling, but sometimes things don't go as planned.

Where? Children's section, Karlskrona City Library
When? Thursday 27 March, 16.00-17.00, AND Friday 28 March, 14.30-15.30.
Age range? For children, 3-7 years
Free admission. No pre-registration!

BUFF Malmö Film Festival is a meeting place for professionals working with film for young audiences. BUFF strives to be an arena where questions are raised about the availability of good films for children and young people, as well as the need to create good conditions for the production, distribution and screening of films for children and young people.
