The absolute easiest way to get to Blekinge from Copenhagen is by train. Its a direct line and takes about 2 hours, that gives you time for a few rounds of UNO and a quick read in your favourite magazine, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery outside your window. See you soon, Sölvesborg!
We find the 2 hours on the train rather relaxing, with great scenery outside our
window. We pass by the bridge between Denmark and Sweden (which the kids love),
beautiful green fields in the middle of nowhere, oh, and a few horses and cows too
- we are heading to the countryside after all!
We also get to talk about our day and what’s ahead of us when we get to Sölvesborg!
In these times, make sure you book
your train ticket on time and with
a seat reservation. If you want to
bring your bike you can, bicycle
tickets can be purchased in DSB
ticket machines on all stations.
