Ride Icelandic horses at Fornhaga

If we are staying several days in Blekinge we make sure to book horseback riding for the kids! This time the owner of Fornhaga, Camilla, took us down to the beach for an amazing horseback ride. The only problem is, now both kids want one horse each...

With the help from the owner, Camilla, you get to prepare and groom your own horse, and then just pick out a helmet and vest at the stables.

Both kids got to try the famous running "tölt" that Icelandic horses do and to say that the kids loved this is an understatement. I don't think this is the last time we book a horseback riding at Fornhaga.

Fornhaga is located just outside of Sölvesborg, in Sandviken, and has the best location with the beach and forest close by. Camilla is the owner of the stables an only has Icelandic horses. You can book a two hour horseback ride or a full day for both children and adults. She also arranges riding camps every summer.
