Southeast Trail

Scenic cycling. The southeast trail is 27 kilometers long and stretches between Växjö and Simrishamn through scenic areas. In a traffic-safe and comfortable way, you cycle through deep forests, sparkling lakes, beautiful cities and cozy resorts as well as lovely apple orchards in Österlen. Through Sydostleden you cycle almost completely car-free and more than 80% is paved with asphalt.

The South East Trail winds through several counties and scenic areas.

From the cycle path's northernmost town Växjö, you cycle south through deep forests and along the lovely Torsjön in Ingelstad down towards Tingsryd and Sweden's national park, the lake landscape of Åsnen. Furthermore, the trail stretches along the Mörrumsån down towards Mörrum's Kronolaxfiske. Here you have the opportunity to look around in the beautiful surroundings. The cycle path then continues down towards Sölvesborg where you cycle across Sölvesborg Bridge which is Europe's longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Further on, you cycle down towards Kristianstad and the cycle path's lowest ground point, 2.32 meters below sea level. Here, nature is rich and varied and the area is designated as a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco. When you get to Åhus, you cycle along the coast of Åland and further down through lovely apple orchards in Österlen.

Padel

On 13 October 2018, Blekinge's first and so far only padel hall in Sölvesborg was inaugurated, House of Padel. The state-of-the-art hall is equipped with four full playing fields, changing rooms, sauna overlooking the playing fields, conference rooms and common areas. In June 2019, two outdoor courts were also inaugurated, which, as long as the weather permits, open up for games under the open sky.

Padel tennis has become a very trendy racquet sport in Sweden and is an active alternative to socializing. Challenge your friends in a match while having real fun together. Whether you are experienced or a beginner, you can rent a court at House of Padel for free play. It is also possible to both rent and buy racks and balls in the venue's own shop.

Take the chance to play padel tennis at the new facility with courts in top condition at House of Padel!

OCR track

OCR is short for Obstale Course Racing which can be translated to obstacle course running. A form of training where you test your endurance, strength, speed and skill. OCR is one of the sports that has recently grown rapidly in Sweden. This is largely thanks to the fact that many races are organized that contain running and obstacles.

You will find the OCR course along the pedestrian and cycle path that runs between Bokelundsskolan and Svarta Led (Idrottsvägen 1).

There are eight obstacles in the course and they include challenges such as arm walking, balance, climbing and moving over and under. It presents challenges for those who are beginners but also for those who have been doing OCR for a long time. One of the obstacles is adapted so that it can be used if you are in a wheelchair. You can advantageously combine the course with a running lap along our electrically lit running track (1450 m) located in the forest next to Svarta Led. You can also run on the asphalted footpaths and cycle paths around the Svarta Led area.
